According to news sources, the updated draught has changed the rules for buying and managing land for the state society. There are a few highlights of the new draught. Section 5 of the Management and Transfer of Properties by Development Authority Act-2014 (the Act) allows joint ventures to manage development authority property. Section 20 of the Act allows the government to make rules to make sure the Act’s goals are met, and Section 21 allows an Authority to make rules.

Section 4 of the regulations says that a committee will be set up to deal with joint venture issues and to do any joint venture tasks that the DG wants it to do. This committee will be called the Joint Venture Committee.

Additional Director of the General (Housing)
The chief planner for the city
The Chief Town Planner (Housing-X)

Section 7 says that a joint venture agreement can include all information that is relevant to the joint venture. It will be looked over by the Director of Law (High Court and Supreme Court).

Officials were giving a briefing about the Dir Motorway. They said that the Expression of Interest for a 30 km long Dir Motorway had been put out earlier, and that the motorway would be built from Chakdara to Rabat.

As many as three interchanges, four flyovers, 24 bridges, and two tunnels would also be built, along with two tunnels.

The Chief Minister said that these projects were a big step forward for the long-term development of the area. He said that the construction of these projects would help boost tourism, trade, and business in the area.

The EPA has launched a crackdown on the usage of plastic bags in the city

The EPA has launched a crackdown on the usage of plastic bags in the city. There has been a campaign to stop people from using polythene bags in Islamabad city, a source said on the 1st of April.

For the project, the agency has set a fine of PKR 210,000 and has seized almost 200 kilogrammes of polythene bags this year. The group wants to make the capital a plastic-bag-free city, and they have collected fines of up to PKR 70,000 in March because people use them.

Sadia Munawar, the EPA’s deputy director, said that four EPA teams have been making surprise visits to a lot of markets and taking strong action against people who break the rules. She also said that in 2021, the agency levied more than PKR 560,000 on the people who didn’t pay.

If you sell goods in polythene bags, you’ll get a fine of PKR10,000 ($100). In addition, a fine of PKR 100,000 has been set for the people who make plastic bags.

KDA: Anti-encroachment campaign begins to reclaim state territory

According to the sources, the KDA Director General (DG), Syed Muhammad Ali Shah, started the operation with the help of the right people to launch a review of people who were found to be negligent. It began in Sector 44/A and Block 11 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar C/4 in Korangi Town, Pakistan, and it led to the demolition of 28 illegal buildings there.
