Allottees or plot owners on LDA Avenue-1 whose properties have no problems with transfers or ownership (A-Category) have until December 31, 2023 to pay their dues, plus interest and late fees. People who are behind on their payments but have B-Category plots, which are properties that have been cleared by courts, encroachments, negotiations, or the ballot of 2022, have to pay up by December 31, 2024.

It was made clear that the authority has already given multiple extensions and won’t give any more, so those who haven’t paid their bills should do so. If that doesn’t happen, the decision made on October 14 and the clause in the allotment letter say that the plots will be taken back by the government. The cancelled allotments can’t be brought back, so people who haven’t paid are told to be responsible and pay up before the deadline.
