Launch of Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul freight train to boost trade. According to the most recent news, a freight train service was established on Tuesday (December 21) to connect Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey to increase trade between the three countries. The introduction of the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul freight train will help to increase trade.

President Abdul Razak Dawood, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Mahmood Qureshi, and Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati were on hand to officially open the train service. The launching ceremony was attended by Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Kazakhstan, among others.

According to the specifics, the freight train service will benefit the lives and economies of members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Furthermore, it will increase economic efficiency while simultaneously cutting business costs.

In order to increase trade, a freight train linking Islamabad, Tehran, and Istanbul was launched.
