Work on the F-9 museum is well underway, with the renovation of the citizen club

Work on the F-9 museum is well underway, with the renovation of the citizen club to follow. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) said work on Islamabad’s first Art and Display Museum in Sector F-9 Park is progressing rapidly.

The museum will be run by a non-official artist committee. According to sources, the museum would showcase historical photos and artefacts from Islamabad. The management stated that the museum will be finished in a few weeks and will be open to the public.

The CDA also announced that the 22-acre Citizen Club will soon be transformed into the Ghandhara Heritage, Culture and Convention Centre.

The vaccination centre will be moved to the park’s Environment Wing, while the Environment Wing will be moved to the Shakarparian arts and crafts centre.

The Ghandhara Heritage, Culture and Convention Centre will be utilised for conventions, exhibitions, and sports facilities, including a gym.
