The updated layout plan for Sector C-16 was accepted by the CDA Board last week, according to CDA Chairman Noor-ul Amin Mengal. To ensure there are no obstacles in the way of beginning the development work, the pre-qualification notices for the construction firms have been released. The engineering wing’s thorough timeline for the growth of the mentioned field was also disclosed.

The CDA chairman added that the civic authority had resolved the concerns with relation to planning and sector survey. 2,500 residential lots, a markaz, and shopping malls are all present in the sector.

In a related event, the Land Directorate and the CDA Enforcement Wing started an anti-encroachment campaign in the C-16 sector to clear out unauthorized encampments and structures.
