Commissioner of Rawalpindi issues flood warnings for Nullah Lai

Commissioner of Rawalpindi issues flood warnings for Nullah Lai and severe rainfall.  According to a post on his official Facebook page, Rawalpindi Commissioner Noor-ul-Amin Mengal has informed the locals of the Rawalpindi division that the Nullah Lai area may become inundated in the coming days due to torrential downpours. For the inhabitants’ benefit, the commissioner has provided a list of safety measures to assist them in preparing for unforeseen circumstances.

Additionally, Commissioner Mengal has advised residents to avoid electrical poles, the Nullah Lai flood route, and unnecessary travel. In addition, the commissioner has activated high alert for WASA staff, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, and all district administrations in preparation for unanticipated situations. Furthermore, the locals have been told that the problem is being carefully watched to help the populace in every way possible after he ordered the area’s fast dewatering.
