Directives issued to accelerate E-12 development work

Islamabad: According to information that was reported in top media on March 14, the National Assembly Standing Committee on Government Assurance has ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to speed up the pace of development activities in Sector E-12.

According to the news outlet, the National Assembly Standing Committee on Government Assurance raised grave worries on the poor rate of progress being made in the aforementioned sector. The committee examined the difficulties in transferring ownership of plots in Sector E-12 to allottees despite paying the full amount for these properties during the meeting.

Also, the CDA officials acknowledged that the incursion has caused a delay in the development process. The Committee requested that the government agency take legal action against the land mafia that is occupying the land. As soon as the development work was finished, the CDA was instructed to turn over possession to the designated individuals.
