According to stated reports, the decision was made to stop fraud and ensure that records about land transfers, mutations, inheritances, and mortgages were accurate. PLRA will get data from NADRA before any property-related proceedings to speed up the verification process. After NADRA verifies the data, it will be sent or changed to another body.
It is also essential to know that the Capital Development Authority (CDA)-Islamabad and NADRA have signed a strategic partnership contract to validate land transactions to stop fraud and make the department more open. In this situation, the NADRA would set up unique portals for the CDA to check land-related issues and applicants’ IDs.
