The government has set December 31 as the deadline for completing the lengthy SL-3 project, according to the news source. The PM emphasized that the initiative will enhance public transport facilities.

In addition, the initiative was delayed for various reasons, which have now been resolved. It is anticipated that the conclusion of this project will significantly reduce traffic congestion for commuters travelling from southern Punjab to Lahore.

In addition, this will alleviate pressure on critical routes such as Thokar and Canal Road, thereby improving the overall commuter experience. It is anticipated that the residents of housing schemes along Multan Road will benefit from the conclusion of the project.
