The low-income segment of society has been assured the construction of 4,000 houses on a massive 250-acre plot in Scheme 45 as a significant step towards addressing housing issues. It is important to note that Malir Development Authority (MDA) is in charge of Taiser Town, a 14,466-acre community that has been meticulously planned.

The minister stated in his inaugural address that the program served two purposes: to provide affordable housing options for low-income families and to honor the sacrifice of national champions. Minister Shah acknowledged the sacrifices of the deceased and assured the audience that the Sindh government would allot 3,500 plots to the relatives of the martyrs.

Also present was the director general of the Malir Development Authority, Muhammad Yasin Shar, who praised the initiative as a landmark achievement that marks a new era in public service.

Muhammad Irfan, secretary of the MDA, added that the construction had already begun to prioritize resident comfort. Lastly, the 80- to 200-square-meter housing units are designed to accommodate a diversity of needs and preferences. In addition, the project includes amenities such as water, electricity, gas, street lights, and contemporary security cameras, all of which are intended to ensure the protection of the residents.

This initiative has received widespread praise for making homeownership attainable for those with modest incomes. During a ceremony witnessed by notable VIPs, including Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Advisor to CM Sindh Faraz Lakhani, and Deputy Mayor of Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Minister Shah announced this initiative.
