Dera Ghazi (DG) Khan’s parliamentarians, including Saifuddin Khosa, Muhammad Khan Leghari, Ali Raza Dreshak and Rai Zahoor, Makhdoom Raza, Kh. Shiraz Mahmood, Sardar Muhammad Mohiuddin Khosa, and Javed Akhtar Lund, met with CM Elahi at his office.

The news source said that the member of parliament thanked the CM for making Taunsa a district. They went on to say that the people’s suffering will be eased and the area’s economy will get better.

It is important to remember that CM Elahi announced in 2005 that Taunsa would become a district. Now, he gave the last go-ahead. After Murree, Talagang, Kot Addu, and Wazirabad, Taunsa is the fifth district to get the status in a short amount of time.
