Turkey and Saudi Arabia will open warehouses in the Gwadar Free Zone

Gwadar: According to news sources, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have expressed a strong interest in investing heavily in the Gwadar Free Zone to build warehouses.

The businesses will keep tyres, vehicle parts, and batteries in the warehouses on a temporary basis. Additionally, the material will be transported to markets in South Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. A delegation from each nation recently met with the authorities and expressed their wish to open their warehouses. With tax breaks, the administration promised the delegation that the facilities would be affordable and commercially viable. The team received a briefing on the facilities, which included batch/lot expiry control, ABC analysis, and contemporary inventory systems including FIFO, LIFO, FEFO, and LEGO.

It is significant to remember that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s showpiece project is the Gwadar Free Zone (CPEC). With specific tax incentives, the project offers 10 spaces for businesses and industries on long-term leases. The Gwadar Free Zone will be the nation’s largest port-related infrastructure when it is finished.
