According to a report from the Ministry of Housing, there are 17,500 federally owned apartments in the city, and employees have moved into 5,000 of them without permission. In the report, it was pointed out that some of the encroachments are extra rooms, boundary walls, and courtyards that are used to make the housing units bigger.

Also, it was found that the official houses of the federal housing ministry’s estate office have been heavily encroached upon. The federal workers have built things on rooftops and in courtyards that are against the rules.
