Shah Jehan, the CDA’s Deputy Director General, has reportedly requested the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner to implement Section 144 on land acquired by the CDA. In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, it was noted that movable and immovable encroachments, as well as unapproved constructions on state land, have impeded pedestrian movement.

In addition, the CDA is contemplating the implementation of Section 144 in a number of locations, including Jaaba Teli, Faisal Masjid, Khanna Bridge, Saidpur Village, Mandi Morr, Bhara Kahu, Chontra, katchi abadis, and green belts. Noorul Amin Mengal, chairman of the CDA, stated that Section 144 is being implemented to safeguard land owned by the CDA and to take action against encroachments.
