CDA is instructed to conduct the Nilore Heights election

Islamabad: According to news reported on April 26, Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar has directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to hold the voting for the Nilore Heights-1 project by May 8. The concept is being designed specifically for Pakistanis living abroad.

These directives reportedly came from Finance Minister Dar during a meeting to review CDA’s projects for Pakistanis living abroad. The gathering was informed about the open auction-based allocation of commercial and residential plots for Pakistanis living abroad. Nilore Heights is one of the development projects that Minister Dar directed the authority to move on with.
The registration for plots in Sectors C-14 and C-16 for expatriates would be started in the following phase and dedicated, it was also announced at the meeting.

In order to help Pakistanis living abroad, the CDA has also established facilitation counters.

The minister also requested a quicker speed of construction on the Kuri and Overseas Enclave projects. In an effort to increase foreign exchange reserves, he directed that investors who purchase commercial plots at auction using US dollars should receive particular incentives. Minister Dar requested that a strategy be in place by the middle of the next month for the auction of plots in Sectors C-14 and C-16.
