CDA will operate the Silver Line Bus on IJP Road

Islamabad: According to news reports on February 3, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has chosen to run the Silver Line Metro Bus service on IJP Road in order to accommodate passengers.

In order to improve commuter services for customers travelling between Rawalpindi and Islamabad, the authority decided to build bus bays and stops for Silver Line Bus service every kilometer, complete with service areas, snack shops, and restrooms. According to PC-I, the continuing development work comprises building a road, two flyovers, two bridges, and seven culverts, all of which are intended to widen and renovate IJP Road. Additionally, the CDA chairman had mandated that the project be finished by March 23.

It is important to note that one of the main thoroughfares in the capital is the IJP Road. Along with connecting G.T. Road and the Islamabad Expressway, it connects Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
