According to the news source, just three long-delayed megaprojects in Rawalpindi would receive funding. It was revealed that the Planning and Development Department had asked the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) for recommendations regarding the release of funds for the project, which includes the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, the redesign and expansion of Kutchery Chowk, and the Defence Chowk Underpass.

In addition, before work on the RRR project, which has been given to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) for PKR 22.8 billion, can proceed, it must be validated by a third party. The RDA will submit its suggestions for allocating money to the aforementioned three projects.
