According to news sources, Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the project site of the Gujranwala-link project connected to the Lahore-Sialkot motorway on July 31 to inspect the ongoing construction work.

During his visit, the chief minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, instructed the authorities to expedite construction while assuring high-quality development. To complete the assignment within the specified timeframe, he emphasized the utilization of additional resources.
The PM was informed that obstacles to the prompt construction of the PKR 11 billion project had been amicably resolved. The 15.2 kilometer-long dual-paved road is expected to provide expedient access to the interstate and will be completed within 90 days using all available resources.
Directives have been issued to expedite the PC-1 preparation of the LHR-SHW-BHP Motorway.
In his discussions with the media, CM Naqvi assured that the project would be completed on schedule despite the challenges posed by the inclement season.
In addition to the road project, CM Naqvi announced the launch of a shuttle service between two Gujranwala hospitals and addressed the shortage of human resources in hospitals, indicating that it would be resolved shortly.
