A press release from the CDA says that equipment for the project has already been moved to the site and that construction will start when the rainy season is over. The contract states that the contractor firm will build a drainage system, a sewage network, streets, street lights, culverts, and other residential facilities. It was also said that CDA had already finished work in three other sub-sectors of Sector 15, and that only Sector I-15/2 was still unfinished.

Also, when the development work is done, the CDA will give plot owners letters of possession that say they can build houses. It’s important to note that building Sector I-15 has been held up for many years because of administrative problems. But the authority has just started to develop a few areas of Islamabad that had been left unfinished.
