IJP Road will be completed before the stipulated time frame. On July 22, many news outlets claimed that Islamabad’s Capital Development Authority had announced that the first phase of the IJ Principal Road, which stretches from GT Road to Mandi Morr in Sector I-11, will be finished earlier than the timetable that was initially committed to.

The development of the first phase will be finished by the time August is over, according to a CDA official who spoke with the media about the National Logistics Cell (NLC), which is keeping up its work at a healthy pace. He went on to say that the NLC had begun putting asphalt down on different sections of the road.

A top CDA official stated that the project’s overall cost will be adjusted in the coming days. In addition, it was disclosed that the work on the pilings and construction of the pillars of the flyover at the intersection of 9th Avenue, Rawalpindi Stadium Road, and IJP Road has been finished.

It is anticipated that once the reconstruction of IJP Road and the building of 10th Avenue are finished, there will be an increase in the volume of traffic travelling between the two cities.
