Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan said that the project should be done on time and that the necessary land should be bought. He also said that the project should be done according to the rules and laws that are already in place.

The chief minister also said that the mega highway projects are important for the province’s long-term growth. He also said that building the Dir Expressway and the Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway will help trade, tourism, and the economy in the area. In a public-private partnership, it was found out that the government had already given the green light to both projects.

It is important to know that the Dir Expressway goes from Chakdara to Rabat and is 30 kilometers long. This will cut 27 kilometers off the distance and add a four-lane expressway, three interchanges, and two tunnels.
