Punjab PDWP approves a project for 57 billion dollars

News sources say that the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved PKR 57.6 billion worth of development projects on Monday, November 21.

At the 29th meeting of the Planning and Development Board, the following projects were given the green light:

  • The Punjab Police Integrated Command, Control, and Communication (PPIC3) Center in Rawalpindi has been given PKR 24.646 billion (Revised)
  • Umbrella PC-I/Cost Estimate for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of 87 No. Roads in Rajanpur, 97 No. Roads in Taunsa, and 30 No. Roads in D.G. Khan has been given PKR 16.53 billion.
    For the care of Sori Lund Hill Torrent, PKR 5.969 billion has been set aside (Jamallar & Talli Branch)
  • The Vidor Hill Torrent will be taken care of with PKR 4.815 billion (Suchani & Phullar Branch)
    Building of Women’s University, Sialkot on an Acquired Piece of Land at Sialkot has been given PKR 2.88 billion to build.

On the Motorway, PKR 1.566 billion has been set aside to build a 3-kilometer-long metal road from Sheikhupura Interchange (M-2) to QAAP.
PKR 1.245 billion has been set aside for the protection of Link No. 1 in D.G. Khan through river training works.
