The RDA will make a technical committee that will decide if the housing plans approved by the Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation (RMC) and District Council meet the criteria set by the Punjab government. The technical committee will check all housing societies to see if they meet the requirements set by the Punjab government. The technical committee will also make terms of reference (ToR) for these housing schemes so that RDA can give out no-objection certificates. In addition to this, the governing body also approved the following rules:

Approval of the preliminary study for classification, reclassification, and redevelopment of the RDA-approved housing scheme Mohanpura according to the rules in the Punjab Development Authority Land Use Rules 2021.
Setting up a quick study with the help of a consultant and giving the governing body the consultant’s suggestions within one month. It will help make sure that people who illegally change the use of property follow the law.
The RDA’s governing board also approved the RDA’s plan to carry out the presidential secretariat’s order to put the National Highway Authority’s right-of-way procedures into action.
