During a visit to Adiala Road, the DG told the right people to do a study on the fees and costs for the approval of illegal residential and commercial buildings, commercialization, supplemental maps, and building plans. He also said that commercialization notices should be sent out and that all illegal homes and businesses on Adiala Road and Shahpur Road should be made legal. He also told sponsors and developers of illegal housing projects not to talk about them on social media or in mainstream media until they had a map approved and a “no objection certificate” (NOC) from the right agencies. He made it clear that anyone who breaks the rules and regulations of authority will be punished by the law.

The court also told the authorities that they couldn’t market any housing society without first getting permission and a NOC from the right agency.
