During a meeting with Federal Secretary of Housing and Works Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, the envoy said he was interested. He said that Pakistan’s housing market is growing quickly, and he also said that investing in the housing market would lead to new ways of building. In this way, Chinese companies will also put money into sharing technology and expertise. Secretary Shallwani invited the envoy to the first international Housing Expo-2022, which will take place in November of this year.

It is important to note that Pakistan has started one of the largest housing development projects in the country. The goal is to give people with low incomes cheap, decent housing. The government has started a number of programs, such as the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar (MPMG) Scheme and the Naya Pakistan Housing Project (NPHP). Both programs try to improve the mortgage options in the country by giving loans for up to 20 years.
