Islamabad: According to the most recent reports, the authorities in Islamabad have disclosed their intention to begin rehabilitation and maintenance on the damaged section of Simly Dam Road. The estimated cost of the endeavor is approximately 74,954,000,000 PKR. Simly Dam Road is a major thoroughfare that carries approximately 50,000 vehicles per day. Currently, damaged sections of Simly Dam Road are causing numerous inconveniences for drivers.

To enhance the functionality of Simly Dam Road, proper underground water drainage pipes, widening, and duplication are required. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has already put Simly Dam Road’s rehabilitation out to bid. The CDA therefore invited approved contractors from Category C-4 or higher with Project Code CE-01 for 2022-23 to submit sealed bids.
The rehabilitation and maintenance of Simly Dam Road is estimated to cost approximately Rs. 74,954,836, and interested parties must provide an earnest money deposit of Rs. The detailed terms and conditions are available on the websites of the CDA and PPRA, and the office of the Deputy Director, Road Division-III, CDA will ensure that interested parties receive the tender documents.
