Baluchistan government commits funding to uplift initiatives

Baluchistan government approved funding for ongoing development projects in the province on Monday. The funds were approved for release during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo. The gathering was informed that funding had been released for new and continuing development projects, which would be finished on schedule.

The chief minister directed the extra chief secretary for planning and development to coordinate with administrative secretaries in order to expedite the completion of all provincial development projects.

Additionally, he requested that he submit progress reports on the projects to the chief minister’s secretariat.

Additionally, the meeting discussed the Quetta development plan and resolved to expedite the receipt of necessary funding for the project.

The conference was briefed on proposed development projects for the Pakistan-Afghan and Pakistan-Iran border areas, and it was determined that financial support will be sought from the federal government on a fast-track basis to improve these areas.
