Buildings can be built beside newly commercialized roadways

The Lahore Development Authority has given the go-ahead for high-rise buildings to be built on roads and highways in Lahore. The government would allow multi-story high-rises to be built on commercial roads under the new rules.

Authorities have told people not to build warehouses, wholesale markets, or unloading godowns on commercial highways. Those roads can only be used for multi-story buildings if they meet the following rules, like this:

• It’s possible for plots of 4 Kanal to have ground-level buildings, as well as buildings with six floors.
• Plots with 10 Marla When Marla buys land, she can build a four-story building on top of it.
• Plots of four Kanal can have a ground level and a six-story building.

Maulana Shaukat Ali Road Khayaban e Jinnah.

A lot that is four Kanal or more can have a ground level and a ten-story building.
