CM Baluchistan approves PKR 182 billion for dam and road projects

Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, Balochistan’s Chief Minister (CM), approved a grant of PKR 183 billion for the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The grant will improve road and dam projects throughout the province.

Mir Bizenjo allocated funds to establish new subdivisions and tehsils in various regions of the province at his first meeting in office.

The cabinet approved the electronic bidding mechanism to increase the bidding process’s ferocity using technology. As part of this inducement, the cabinet amended the Balochistan Public Procurement Act 2009 and the Balochistan Letter of Administration and Succession Bill 2021. This gives the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) the authority to issue a succession certificate in the event of a person’s death.
