Govt prohibits to build housing societies in agricultural areas of Pakistan

The Climate Change Ministry has asked provincial governments to stop housing societies from being built on agricultural land, and they have asked them to do this.

The provinces have planned to make master plans for 80 cities based on the specifics. Improve the natural environment, and they also planned to stop construction on land that was meant to be used for farming.

Builders and people who live in KP are in a bind over a ban on housing societies in the city.

The provinces are going to make it a requirement to get permission to use green land for residential purposes before it can be used. According to the sources, the master plans will help the cities keep from growing beyond their boundaries. Malik Amin Aslam, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, also said that by the end of the year, the master plans would be put into place.
