He emphasized that direct flights between Skardu and the United Arab Emirates will boost tourism in the northern regions. Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has issued an order to increase tourism in the country in collaboration with the private sector.

Chaudhry asserted that the government must make it easier for tourists to investigate Skardu and other areas with enticing tourist attractions in order to strengthen Pakistan’s tourism sector.

The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in conjunction with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and others, has established a pavilion at the 2023 Arabian Travel Market. The Pakistani ambassador to the UAE stated that Pakistan’s participation in the event is a significant step towards promoting tourism and enhancing the country’s international image.
