RDA will build a public parking lot on a 5-kanal property
Rawalpindi: On December 23, news sources said that the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) plans to build a public parking lot on a 5-kanal plot of land in the Mohanpura Housing Scheme.

The parking lot will be across the street from the Novelty Cinema in Rawalpindi. It will be used to reduce the number of cars parked on the road and the amount of traffic in the area. The RDA has given orders that any illegal buildings on the property must be taken down before construction can begin.
DG Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa looked at the 5-kanal open space and told RDA to start building a wall around it. He also told people where they could park their cars and motorcycles.
It’s important to know that the RDA has asked its enforcement officers to get people off of public land within a week so that traffic doesn’t get stuck. The public parking lot project is another step in the same direction. It will make sure that people in Rawalpindi have the parking space they need for their cars.
