Capital Smart City implements an e-challan payment system

Islamabad: News sources said on October 3 that Capital Smart City has put in place an e-challan system for payments in instalments. This is a big step toward e-payment infrastructure. Residents of Lahore Smart City and Capital Smart City will be able to pay their bills on time through an online system that is part of the e-payment system.

This will get rid of the need to show proof of payment to management, since the ledger will be updated as soon as a payment is made.

The finance department also talked about the new system, saying that the authority has made a secure website for e-payments as well as apps for Android and iOS. Here are the steps that customers can take to pay their bills:

• First, go to the website https://www.smartcitypk.com/eservices or download the mobile apps.

• Then, sign up for an account and log in.

• Fill in the correct information.

• Pay the bill by downloading an e-challan.

• Take a printout and pay at the UBL or Askari Bank Limited branch of your choice.

The news source said that people will still be able to pay their dues online as before.
