According to reports, the CCTV surveillance will also reduce the misuse of public cash. The LDA will monitor these projects utilizing technology as well as community participation and feedback.

The commissioner visited the construction sites for the Samanabad-Gulshan Ravi Underpass, Lahore Bridge, and CBD Underpass earlier on Friday (March 10), and he made the decision to use IT-based technology to monitor these projects. He reportedly gave concerned teams the order to seek consultants to set up cameras at project locations for efficient monitoring. The news source further stated that before beginning construction of the multi-level flyover in Shahdara, he had instructed the officers to address traffic problems.

It is important to remember that LDA just began a lot of development projects in the city; nevertheless, delays are occurring as a result of several factors. Recently, the government requested that the LDA put more stringent quality control procedures in place for all projects.
