CDA Land & estate departments split to improve management. On June 3, news sources said that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has split its land and estate branch into two separate groups that work under civil officials. Two deputy director generals will be in charge of the new wings (DDGs).

The CDA administration has reportedly decided to split the department into two parts to make it more efficient. One part will only deal with land issues, while the other will deal with estate issues. According to the details, Muhammad Afnan Alam, a BPS-19 employee of the Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS), will now be in charge of the estate, while the director of estate management commercial will be in charge of the DDG Estate.

In the same way, Omar Liaquat Randhawa, a BPS-18 officer in the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), has been given the job of DDG Land. Afnan Alam was in charge of DDG Land and Estate in the past. Abdul Razzaq is now a CDA BPS-19 Executive Cadre officer and has been given the job of Director of Estate Residential.
