CDA to build ‘Alexander Road’ – Linking Islamabad with Haripur

Islamabad: In the latest pleasant news, Capital Development Authority (CDA) is ready to build the ‘Alexander Road’ which resides exactly on the Islamabad-Haripur territory. The newly built Road will be connecting the two cities, making it easier for the citizen to move around.

In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be inaugurating it along with another recent promising venture, Margalla Avenue. The name of the route has yet to be decided but the reports say that it will soon be decided upon. In addition, another project called Shah Allah Ditta Road which was widened and connected to Kentla Road. It is also pertinent to mention that the following route is at least 7.5 Km long and will get connected to the Haripur region eventually. The opening of all the recent projects will be soon done by the Prime Minister – Shehbaz Sharif.

On announcing the news, the CDA engineer shed light on how the plan is eventually going to pan out.

“We intend to build the road precisely in the Islamabad area, but the KPK government too is building a road on the exact opposite side. So, it will eventually connect with the road – paving a smooth path for connecting Islamabad with the Haripur region..”
