CDA to Conduct the Auction of Plots to Alleviate Economic Challenges

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has agreed on a strategy to auction off properties in Islamabad in January 2024 to relieve the municipal body of financial strain.

The CDA has disclosed that the plot auction will occur in January in Gandhara Hall in F-9 Park. The auction will include strategic zones, including Blue Area and Park Road.

The auction inventory includes apartment plots, petrol pumps, and Class Three retail centres.

In addition, the auction will feature fruit and vegetable shops, information technology facilities, and hostel spaces.

Further, a substantial 10 per cent discount will be extended to promote timely payment for total payments received within one month from the bid acceptance date.

Furthermore, the CDA has guaranteed that construction plan sanction will be expeditiously bestowed following the payment of the initial instalment.

This initiative strives to promote timely construction and development activities in addition to maximizing the allocation of sites.
