Citing data, he claimed that the CPEC has given Pakistan’s economic and social development a significant boost by bringing in a total of $25.4 billion in direct investments, 155,000 direct jobs, 510 kilometers of motorways, 8,200 megawatts of power capacity, and 886 kilometers of core power transmission grid.

He claimed that the idea has received praise from Pakistani leaders and members of all spheres of society.

“China, with the spirit of extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, is ready to take this opportunity to promote the world’s earliest realisation of GDI, GSI, and GCI with Pakistan, so as to provide more stability and positive energy to regional and global peace and development,” he continued.

“I firmly believe that the all-weather strategic partnership between China and Pakistan will constantly deepen and strengthen, allowing us to better protect our shared interests and benefit both people, as long as we are guided by the significant consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and Pakistani leaders, concentrate on creating a closer China-Pakistan community of shared future in the new era with faster paces, and take high-quality construction of the CPEC as the platform.

He claimed that China presented the Global Development Initiative (GDI), Global Security Initiative (GSI), and Global Civilization Initiative (GCI) over the last ten years to direct the advancement of human society in these three areas.

“China also supports the effort to establish an open, inclusive, clean, and beautiful world that enjoys permanent peace, universal security, and common prosperity in order to make people’s aspirations for a better life a reality. The idea of a global community with a common future has been increasingly enhanced, carried out, and supported during the last 10 years,” he continued.

The Chinese government published the white paper A Global Community of Shared Future: China’s Proposals and Actions on September 26th to describe the theoretical foundation, practise, and evolution of the concept in an effort to increase understanding and broaden consensus in the international community.
