Encroachers in Kohat have been asked to quit state land within three days. The tehsil municipal administration and traffic police issued notifications to encroachers along the Indus Highway, in Lachi Bazaar, and in Kohat city, requiring them to remove state land within three days or risk forced eviction.

Mohammad Shoeb, the Tehsil municipal officer, told reporters on Sunday that encroachments have reduced road space, resulting in a traffic jam. He stated that if the encroachers did not remove their encroachments peacefully, an operation against them would be undertaken.
