GB solicits bids for Chilas, Astore Town Master Plan 2050

Chilas: According to a notice published in the national dailies on Tuesday, August 2, the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Public Works Department (PWD) has invited technical and financial proposals under the Quality-and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method to prepare the Master Plan of Chilas and Astore Town-2050. The GB PWD will accept offers until 2 PM on August 29. At 2:30 PM on that same day, all bidders will be present as the GB PWD opens the bids.

The technical bids must include PKR 1 million in bid security in the form of a call deposit made by a Pakistani scheduled bank in the name of Superintending Engineer Circle GB PWD Diamer. The fact that technical bids without call deposits will be viewed as non-responsive and non-responsive bidders’ technical bids will be returned unread was emphasized. The applicants are asked to separate the technical bid and financial bid markings on each envelope. Reputable consulting firms that match the department’s requirements and are active, experienced, and results-driven are encouraged to apply. From August 2, interested parties may obtain more information and obtain the bidding document/RFP document by submitting a written application and paying a non-refundable charge of PKR 10,000 in cash at the office of the GB PWD Diamer Executive Engineer B&R Division.
