Hub Bridge will repair on the Karachi-Quetta National Highway by NHA

The Hub Bridge on the Karachi-Quetta National Highway (N-25) was completely demolished by recent flash floods, however the National Highway Authority has opted the responsibility to repair it. On July 29, news stories in the national dailies said this.

NHA Chairman Captain Muhammad Khurram Agha presided over an executive board meeting recently convened at the headquarters to discuss the network’s current state. The bridge which links Sindh and Baluchistan, known as Hub Bridge, will be rebuilt, under the directives of Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services Asad Mahmood.

The Hub Bypass project was also approved at the conference, which will open up new avenues for socioeconomic growth in the area. The workforce has been ordered by the NHA chairman to be on high alert in case of emergency. He also stated that all the available resources would be employed to restore traffic on the platform of national highways and motorways.
