In Gwadar, a Pakistan-China vocational institute is inaugurated

In Gwadar, a Pakistan-China vocational institute is inaugurated. On Friday, the first Pakistan-China technical-vocational institute in this city. The project was inaugurated in Gwadar as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong, attended the inauguration ceremony via video link. Mr. Rong stated on the occasion that the institute, which was completed in only 20 months at the cost of $10 million, was a symbol of Pakistan’s 70-year friendship with China. He stated that the institute was equipped with cutting-edge machinery to impart the best technical education and skills to Baluchistan’s youth, particularly Gwadar.

The Chinese envoy stated that it would provide students with free housing and scholarships during their training at the institute. A vocational institute jointly established by Pakistan-China is inaugurated in Gwadar.

Zhang Baosheng, Chairman of the China Overseas Port Holding Company, described the institute as an excellent institution for Gwadar and the entire region, one that would contribute significantly to the region’s development.

He stated that its establishment would be critical in securing decent employment for talented youth by providing vocational training. “Technical institutes are critical for industrial development, and trained youths will have excellent employment opportunities in the Gwadar Port, Free Zone Industry, and other CPEC projects,” he added. A Pakistan-China vocational institute is inaugurated in Gwadar.

Major General Inayat Hussain, General Officer Commanding 44 Division, Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed of the Pakistan Navy, Zhang Bausing, Chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority, Naseer Khan Kashani, Brigadier Fahad Mansoor Kayani, Commanding Officer 440 Brigade, Brigadier Fahad Mansoor Kayani, Assistant Commissioner of Gwadar Raja Athar Abbas, and students and teachers from Pak-China School also attended. A vocational institute jointly established by Pakistan-China opens in Gwadar.
