On Wednesday (July 19), Mayor of Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the renovated Land Department office, which features a new monitoring and surveillance system. In Karachi, citizens will have access to a convenient and time-saving single-window facility for land-related services, such as land transfer, proprietorship, and leasing.

This transformation, according to Mayor Wahab, will ensure efficiency and transparency with no space for error. He also reiterated his pledge to make it easier for citizens to contact the KMC Land Department. Mr. Wahab urged that similar renovation initiatives be implemented in other KMC offices and that the Land Department’s recovery rate for timely project completions in the provincial capital be enhanced.
