According to reports, Package One will cost PKR 1.50 billion and will include the construction of a road from Saggian Interchange Band Road to Phool Mandi and Faiz Pur Interchange and other infrastructure. It will connect Phool Mandi to Sheikhupura Road and will be completed in two phases. This is the second phase, which will take eight months and cost PKR 1.48 billion to complete.

More information: The LDA has requested bids for the electrification of the Naya Pakistan Apartments.

It is important to note that the LDA has published a list of companies that have applied to be prequalified for the Sagian Road construction project. The renovation of Sagian Road is part of the Punjab government’s multibillion-rupee road infrastructure upgrade project for the provincial capital, which is now underway. Traffic congestion and commuters clog the route as they enter and exit the city, making it one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city.
