Long-Awaited BuP Award for Sector C-15 Announced by CDA

The leading newspaper on July 3 reported that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently announced the long-overdue Built-up Property (BuP) Award for Sector C-15 in Islamabad.

According to the specifics, the CDA announces a prospective BuP award for land acquired in 2008 via a land-sharing formula. The landowners were guaranteed a one-kanal developed plot in exchange for four kanals of their land. Since then, however, the BuP award has been pending.

In addition, the CDA will provide cash or land benefits to 287 qualified individuals for the constructed property. For those who were unable to provide the necessary information to the government agency, their names will be included on the B-List. These individuals are given the opportunity to submit the required documentation to the CDA in order to secure their benefits.

 

Before announcing the awards, the news source reported that the CDA collaborated with the ICT Revenue Department to ensure accuracy and transparency. Two ICT officers have signed the final lists prior to the official proclamation of the BuP awards, it was disclosed.
