Review of Warsak Dam safety

Muhammad Zubair, the Commissioner of Peshawar Division, visited Warsak Dam on Thursday to assess the security measures and ongoing rehabilitation efforts at the dam site.

The primary purpose of the visit was to improve the security measures for the project’s personnel. Deputy Commissioner Shah Fahad of Peshawar, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Nasir of Khyber, SP Security Atiq Shah, DPO Saleem Khan of Khyber, Additional Deputy Commissioner Imran Yousafzai of Peshawar, and other pertinent officials joined Commissioner Zubair.

During the visit, the Project Director provided a comprehensive overview of the second Warsak Dam Rehabilitation Project’s ongoing activities. In addition, the Director of Security elaborated on the security measures implemented for the project’s personnel.

Commissioner Muhammad Zubair addressed the assemblage and issued directives for the full implementation of safety protocols in accordance with federal and provincial regulations. In addition, he exhorted deputy commissioners to conduct periodic site inspections to ensure security compliance and track progress. Afterwards, accompanied by officials, we visited the Warsak Dam Power House.
