The Centre approves Mansehra development initiatives

According to June 14 news reports, the federal government has allocated funding for seven development initiatives in Mansehra.

Muhammad Sajjad Awan, a member of the National Assembly (MNA), announced that the government has authorised funds for the Mansehra projects inaugurated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit last year.

The following are the specifications of approved funding for Mansehra projects:

The establishment of a Basic Aerodrome facility and land acquisition for the construction of an airport in Mansehra have been allocated PKR 1.6 billion.
Foreign funding will be used to complete the 27-kilometer-long Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Motorway, for which PKR 4.72 billion has been set aside. He was optimistic that this highway would bring prosperity and growth to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Potha village’s construction of the Tanawal interchange on the Hazara Motorway has been approved with a budget of 0.5 billion Pakistani rupees.
PKR 0.56 billion for the construction of a tunnel connecting the Khaki district of Mansehra with the town of Oghi in an effort to improve regional connectivity and transportation.

Hazara University has been allocated PKR 1.7 billion to enhance its academic and infrastructure facilities.
0.4 billion Pakistani rupees have been budgeted for the Mansehra Water Supply Scheme
The district of Mansehra has been allocated 7.69 billion Pakistani rupees for the interconnection of the 765 KV grid station with the 220 KV grid station.
These initiatives represent substantial government investments to promote progress and development in the Mansehra district and its environs.
