Capital 11th Avenue Renamed as Iran Avenue

Islamabad: The government of Pakistan redesignates “Eleventh Avenue” in Islamabad as “Iran Avenue” in observance of the Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan.

An additional significant development in fortifying and integrating the Pakistan-Iran relationship is renaming “Eleventh Avenue” in Islamabad to “Iran Avenue.”

Following approval, the Interior Ministry corresponded with CDA officials; a CDA spokesperson confirmed that the directives to rename the highway had been executed after Iran had commenced.

Conversely, at the Prime Minister’s House, Iranian President Dr. Syed Ibrahim Raisi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met to discuss advancing bilateral relations, expanding cooperation, and combined efforts to combat terrorism.

Both leaders conveyed their best intentions to one another during the meeting between the Iranian President and Shehbaz Sharif. As stated by the prime minister, your visit is welcomed by the entire nation of Pakistan, including myself.

The Iranian President expressed gratitude for the cordial reception extended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
