CDA approved Rs. 5.4 billion Margalla Avenue extension from N-5 to M-1 Motorway

Islamabad: According to the most recent information, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved the Rs. 5.4 billion initiative to extend Margalla Avenue from the N-5 to the M-1 Motorway. The endeavor is anticipated to be finished in eight months. The project would be concluded in eight months after the CDA acquires 2,400 meters of land.

According to the report, the meeting authorized the construction supervision plan. In addition, the construction of an interchange on N-5 (GT Road) is included in this project. In addition, the meeting approved a Rs186 million initiative to add 15 beds to the CDA Capital Hospital.

During the meeting, the PC-II for project consulting services to conduct the Road Safety Audit in Islamabad was also approved. Consequently, the consultant will formulate recommendations for safe and efficient road traffic as part of this endeavour. Road safety audits will also aid in minimizing the number of road accidents by ensuring that roads are properly constructed. The initiative will undoubtedly increase the importance of road safety in road planning and design.
