The CDA Development Working Party (DWP), led by CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal, approved this massive PKR 5.45 billion project. The news article stated that completion is expected in 8 months.

The plans provide for a six-lane road facility and the construction of an intersection with N-5. The interchange system is included in this project’s total price tag of PKR 5,452.011 million.

After the PC-I for the project is approved, CDA officials will work to acquire the necessary land, according to an unnamed official. Rawalpindi and Islamabad each have their own construction plot measuring 1.8 and 1.6 kilometers, respectively. The CDA will be in charge of building the section in Islamabad.
